These instructions help you configure your Panasonic KX-TA/E TE phone system to work with TIM Plus. Contact your system maintainer if you are not familiar with the configuration of your PBX.

Configuring the SMDR output

Below you will find instructions on how Follow the steps below to configure your Panasonic KX-TA/E TE to output SMDR data to TIM Plus. You will need to do this from the  The configuration needs to be performed from a Panasonic KX-T7130 phone:

1. On the back of the phone set it to ProgramSet the System Program Switch on the EMSS Control Unit to the

   Buttonmacro
   Label Programming

    position.
2. Press -* and then followed by the # key and , then enter your system password.
3. Press ##. You are now in to enter the

   Referencemacro
   Label Programming mode

4. Go to programming code 800, and set each of the settings fields as shown below. After you have set each one press Press  Store and then Next after each entry in order to move to the next settingfield:

   SMDR field	Value
   NL-Code	CR+LF
   Baud Rate	9600
   Word Length	8 bits
   Parity	None
   Stop Bit	1 bit

5. Go to programming code 801, and set each of the settings fields as shown below. After you have set each one press Press Store and then Next after each entry in order to move to the next settingfield:

   SMDR field	Value
   Page Length	Leave as default
   Skip Perf	Leave as default

6. Go to programming code 802, and set each of the settings fields as shown below. After you have set each one press Press Store and then Next after each entry in order to move to the next settingfield:

   SMDR field	Value
   Outgoing	On
   Incoming	On

7. On Set the back of the phone set it back to Store System Program Switch back to Store position.

Installing NetPBX

The Panasonic KX-TA/E TE phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the call logging data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus, you will first need to install the NetPBX netpbx software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Configuring TIM Plus

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on in to TIM Plus as usual and apply perform the following settingssteps below:

1. Click on the Directory tab.
2. Select Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and click Properties.

3. Within In the Site Properties window, select select Panasonic KX Family-TD Series from the PBX model drop-down list.
4. In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
5. Click on the Save button to apply the settings
