  1. Click on Windows Start.
  2. Click on Control panel.
  3. Double click on Administrative tools icon.
  4. Double click on Data Sources (ODBC) icon.
  5. Click on the System DSN tab.
  6. Click on the Add button.
  7. Select Native from the list and click Finish.
  8. In the Data source name field enter the following: Siemens OpenOffice.
  9. Click on the OK button and then again to close the window.

Now you will be able to see the The Siemens OpenOffice connection shoud now be displayed in the System DSN list.

<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to use the DSN connection that has just been setup:</p>

	<li>Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
	<li>Click on the <span class="button no_margin">Directory</span> tab.</li>
	<li>Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>or create a new site and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>.</li>

Configuring TIM Plus

Once the DSN connection has been setup, log on to TIM Plus as usual and apply the following settings:

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Select the site configured during the setup wizard and click on Properties.

  1. Within the Site Properties window, select Siemens OpenOffice from the PBX model drop-down list.
  2. In the Connection method field select Connect to a system DSN from the drop-down list.
  3. In the DSN name field select Siemens OpenOffice from the drop-down list.
  4. In the Frequency field enter in 5.
  5. In the DB script field select Siemens OpenOffice from the drop-down list.
  6. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
